Sheila’s Thoughts – 27th October

When coming out to Uganda I was quite scared and apprehensive aqnd unsure of what to expect. Claire had told me a little of what to expect but until you get here and experience them for yourself it is hard to imagine what life here is really like. It has really brought me out of my comfort zone.

We have experienced highs together but also lows as well and it has been great being part of it. We have met some amazing people like Rev Moses; Gertrude in Kampala and Ann in Soroti – all with their own amazing stories of the work they are doing to help the vulnerable children.

It has been very humbling meeting the children in the schools.

Global Care is doing so much for these children and without them where would these children be?
